Alex Diehl
President, Chief Executive Officer
Alex started at Krieghoff International as the General Manager in the fall of 2007 and gained Officer status in 2010. Before working for Krieghoff International, Alex was the COO of Blaser USA and before that the Director of Export Sales for Mauser Jagdwaffen GmbH in Germany. Before his career in the Outdoor Industry that started in 2004, he has served in the German Army as a paratrooper, retiring with the rank of Captain. He has a degree in Economics and Business Administration from Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität (WWU) in Münster Germany.
Krieghoff Gun
- For Sporting Clays Alex shoots a K-80 Vintage Game Scene 1 in 30″ CTTF configuration. His favorite Trap gun is the KX-6 Special.
- In the field he either sports his Semprio in 9.3×62 and Blaze Orange camo stock on big game or the K-20 Parcours with 30″ barrels and Prince of Wales stock for birds.
Interests and Passions
Alex is a passionate hunter, fisherman and sporting clay shooter. He has hunted big game, small game and birds for most of his life and on three continents, North America, Europe and Africa.

Ken Pfau
Vice President, General Operations
Ken started at Krieghoff in September of 2018. Prior to Krieghoff Ken was the General Manger of Rio Ammunition, and Sr. Vice President at FN America. Ken's role is to provide operational tools and efficiencies to the team and support daily functions.

- Ken shoots a blued K-80 Standard Engraved in Sporter configuration. For Trap he shoots a Tapered Step Unsingle Barrel and has a custom Top Latch with the new Krieghoff Diamond logo.

Anjill Wiedmann
Accounting/Office Manager
Anjill joined Krieghoff in 2016 bringing her bookkeeping experience to the company. A Pennsylvania native, Anjill is active in outdoor sports and hiking.
Jen Rizzo
Accessories Manager
Jen joined the Krieghoff staff in October of 2003. After attending East Stroudsburg University, Jen joined the team at Blue Fish Clothing where she was Production Manager and then moved on to be a Production Manager at Majestic Athletic. She now handles all of the designing and ordering of Krieghoff’s accessories line as well as managing the online store.
Andreas (Andy) Papst

Shop Manager
Andy's career started in 1994 when he enrolled at a gunsmith school in the world-renowned gun-making town of Suhl, Germany. After school, he spent over 10 years at a professional gun shop servicing and building many firearms. In 2008, he brought this extensive knowledge to Krieghoff. He enjoys working on old drillings, combination guns, and quality firearms.

Elmar Bonn
Parts Manager, Master Gunsmith
Elmar joined the gunsmith staff at Krieghoff International in May of 2006. Elmar graduated in 1999 from the gunsmith school in Ferlach, Austria. He moved to the US in 1999 to work in Connecticut at the Connecticut Shotgun Manufacturing Company. Elmar received his Master Gunsmith Degree in Ulm, Germany in 2004.
Interests and Passions
When Elmar is not working he’s usually enjoying nature with hiking, biking and kayaking around NW PA. You may spot him on the trail in his refurbished 1987 VW Westfalia. Elmar also spends his spare time working on old Mauser rifles and sporterizing them for modern shooters.
Janine Snyder
Service Manager
Janine is one of Krieghoff International's earliest employees. She is instrumental in keeping the Service Shop running smooth and making sure our customers get the level of service expected with the Krieghoff brand.
Jack Marrero
Logistics Manager
Jack joined the Krieghoff staff in January of 2020. He has a background in logistics and warehouse management and ensures that each gun is carefully prepared and shipped to meet the quality standards that Krieghoff is so well known for.

Matthias (Matt) Hartung
Master Gunsmith, Assistant Shop Manager, Mayor of Matt's workbench
Matt is originally from Heilsberg, Germany. He went to gunsmithing school in the gun capital of Germany in the town of Suhl. Mr. Hartung has been a gunsmith for 21 years, 16 of those years with Krieghoff International. His claim to fame is that he can work on any gun, from building custom parts for our oldest of rifles to anything our newest of shotguns may need. In his free time he can (or can’t!) be found hunting in the woods of PA or catching (not just fishing!) the Delaware River.
Jeremy Cushman
Gunsmith
Jeremy joined the Krieghoff Gunsmithing Team in August of 2018 after graduating from Pennsylvania Gunsmithing School-Class of 2018. As a Navy brat Jeremy traveled a lot growing up, but calls Virginia Beach home.
Interests and Passions
- Shooting passions include all clay sports as well as pistol and rifle competitions.
- Jeremy also enjoys long walks on the beach with his P.08.
John Bowman
Gunsmith
John just joined the Krieghoff team the summer of 2021. Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. John attended Murray State College Gunsmithing School in Tishomingo, OK and returned home to start his gunsmith career at Krieghoff. John completed an additional program at MS for building safari rifles and revolvers. John enjoys shooting pistols, mainly his Glock. He can be found spending time with his friends and family in his free time (when not at the pistol range!).
Melvin Croll
Gunsmith
Melvin joined the team of Krieghoff Gunsmiths in May 2022 after graduating from the Pennsylvania Gunsmithing School with High Honors. A native of Richmond, Virginia, Melvin is quickly learning all the skills needed to service Krieghoff guns like the K-80 and is enjoying every minute. When he is not at the work bench he can be found playing his six-string electric bass, fishing or building custom smallbore target guns.
Maik Zimmermann

Stockmaker
Maik joined Krieghoff International in July of 2007. Trained in Germany in both firearm metal work and wood work Maik now spends most of his time building new custom stocks for customers. Be sure to view some of his work in the Wood Working section of the website.
Jason Manno
Woodsmith
Jason joined Krieghoff in 2018 after completing gunsmithing school at the Pennsylvania Gunsmith School. Jason now spends his time creating fine checkering, stock refinishing and custom stocks based on a customers needs.
Dwayne Cairns

Dwayne has been with Krieghoff International for 18 years. As one of the Woodshop team he's been involved in woodworking his entire career. He spend his free time fishing and projects around the house.

Laura Spaeth
Office Administrator
Laura has been with Krieghoff International since February of 2008. She has a background in retail and is responsible for packaging and shipping online orders as well as helping with special projects as needed.

Laura is a voracious reader of true crime novels, music lover and cross stitching.
Chrissy Byrd
Account Manager
Chrissy recently joined the Krieghoff International team as an Account Manager. From New Albany, Indiana she recently graduated from Lindenwood University with a Master of Business Administration degree. While at Lindenwood, she was a member of their national championship shotgun sports team. Much like this position at Krieghoff, Lindenwood offered the opportunity to combine her passion for business and shotgun sports. Prior to joining Krieghoff, Chrissy served as the Indiana AIM Director of youth trapshooting and worked as an assistant editor for Trap & Field Magazine. She has also been very active in the trapshooting community as a competitor enjoying traveling all over the country competing and was fortunate to be named a 6-time ATA Lady-1 All American team member. In her free time she love to travel, coach youth shotgun sports, compete, and spend time with family and friends.
